Where AI is used
Some analysis and explanatory content on this platform is drafted with the assistance of large language models. AI is used for drafting and structuring prose from a pre-verified set of facts. It is not used to source facts, and it is not permitted to introduce figures of its own.
Every article that involved AI assistance says so in its footer.
The fact payload constraint
Before drafting begins, a closed set of verified figures is assembled, each carrying its source and an as-of date. The drafting model is instructed to use only these figures.
After drafting, an automated auditor extracts every numeric claim from the draft and tests it against that payload. A figure that cannot be traced to a sourced fact is a blocking failure. This converts hallucination from a subjective judgement into a mechanical set-membership test.
Compliance checks before publication
Every draft is scanned for prohibited language: buy/sell/hold recommendations, directives addressed to the reader, guaranteed or assured return claims, and unattributed price targets or price predictions.
Any match on these rules is a blocking failure. The draft is quarantined with a status of 'review' and is not published.
The auditor is deterministic — pattern rules and arithmetic, not a second AI model grading the first. An automated control must be auditable and must fail in ways that can be reasoned about.
Fail-closed publishing
The publishing pipeline is fail-closed by design. Anything the auditor cannot positively verify does not publish. A missed publication slot has no cost; a non-compliant published claim does.
Draft files are written to the repository with a status flag, and only files marked as passed are rendered at public URLs.
Corrections
Where an error is identified in published content, it is corrected and the modification date is updated. Material corrections to a factual claim are noted in the article.

Editorial independence
