Vibration and sound

Short taps confirm what you have pressed, and a distinct pattern tells you when something failed. Both are off in a single switch if you would rather not have them.

This device

No vibration on this device — desktop browsers have none

This describes how the signal is sent, not whether you will feel it — your browser is not told either. Use the tests below to find out.

The real patterns

What the app actually uses. Success and error are deliberately different, so a failure never feels like a confirmation.

Felt nothing at all? On Android, check Settings → Sound and vibration → touch vibration, and turn off Battery Saver — both silence web vibration, and neither is visible to this page. On iPhone or iPad there is nothing to switch on: no browser there has a vibration API, so a system haptic is used instead. It is subtler than Android’s by design, and a single-pulse tap is the faintest thing the platform will produce.
