What is a Mid Cap fund?
Under SEBI's scheme categorisation, a Mid Cap fund must hold at least 65% in companies ranked 101st to 250th by market capitalisation. Its risk-o-meter band is Very High. There is no statutory lock-in.
What is the minimum SIP for a Mid Cap fund?
Across the 31 Mid Cap schemes listed here, the lowest minimum SIP instalment is ₹99. Minimums are set by each AMC and differ between schemes, so check the individual scheme page before starting.
