What is a Multi Cap fund?
Under SEBI's scheme categorisation, a Multi Cap fund must hold at least 75% in equity, with a minimum 25% each in large, mid and small caps. Its risk-o-meter band is Very High. There is no statutory lock-in.
What is the minimum SIP for a Multi Cap fund?
Across the 32 Multi Cap schemes listed here, the lowest minimum SIP instalment is ₹99. Minimums are set by each AMC and differ between schemes, so check the individual scheme page before starting.
