Mutual funds with no lock-in period: questions
How many mutual funds match this?
No schemes currently match this rule in the exchange scheme master. The master refreshes daily and this page recomputes with it.
Does no lock-in mean I can withdraw with no cost?
No — the two are different things. A lock-in is a statutory bar on redeeming at all, and only ELSS carries one among these schemes. An exit load is a charge the scheme deducts if you redeem within a stated period, and it can apply to a fund with no lock-in. Each scheme page shows its disclosed exit load. There is also the tax on any gain, which is unaffected by either.
How quickly does the money reach my bank account?
Settlement is T+1 for most debt schemes and T+2 for equity, counted in business days from the day the redemption is accepted before cut-off. The settlement period for each scheme is shown on its own page. A redemption placed after cut-off is processed against the next business day's NAV, which adds a day before the clock starts.
Is this list a recommendation?
No. It is every scheme matching one stated, checkable rule — Statutory lock-in of zero months. It is ordered alphabetically, so the order is reproducible and carries no judgement. GrowIQ Capital is an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor (ARN-352082), not a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser, and does not rate, rank or recommend schemes.
